Maintenance of Saae will interrupt water supply in the east zone of Sorocaba; see list
A scheduled maintenance by the Sorocaba Water and Sewage Autonomous Service (Saae) will temporarily interrupt water supply in eight neighborhoods on Tuesday.
The Sorocaba Water and Sewage Autonomous Service (Saae) has announced a planned maintenance that will disrupt water supply in eight neighborhoods in the east zone of Sorocaba on Tuesday, June 17, from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM. The maintenance is part of a preventive measure aimed at reviewing the electrical system of the Novo Éden Distribution Center, ensuring the reliability and performance of the water distribution network.
The water supply interruption is expected to last for two and a half hours and will affect the following neighborhoods: Éden, Jardim Harmonia, Jardim Jatobá, Jardim Itália, Jardim Copaíba, Jardim Boa Esperança, Jardim Paraíso, and Jardim Carolina. In anticipation of the disruption, Saae encourages residents to fill their water tanks and use water sparingly during the maintenance period to mitigate any inconvenience caused by the temporary loss of service.
Glauco Fogaça, the General Director of Saae, emphasized the importance of this preventive maintenance for the long-term functionality of the water distribution system. By conducting such maintenance works, the agency aims to ensure a consistent and reliable water supply to residents, reflecting its commitment to providing quality services to the community, even if it necessitates temporary interruptions in service.
