VIDEO: Teenagers are suspected of helping criminals in a robbery of a 'friend's' house in MT

Two men were arrested, and three teenagers were apprehended on suspicion of aiding a robbery in Cuiabá, Brazil.

In a recent incident in Cuiabá, Brazil, two men aged 24 and 27 were arrested and three teenage girls were apprehended for allegedly assisting in a robbery attempt at the home of a victim they knew. The incident took place in the Morada dos Nobres neighborhood on Monday, September 16. According to the victim, he recognized the young women, having given them a ride to his house prior to the crime. This raises questions about trust and betrayal among acquaintances in such dangerous situations.

The police report indicates that three armed men exited a vehicle and confronted the girls and three other young women in front of the victim's house. Armed confrontation was documented by security camera footage, which depicted the assailants forcing the women into the residence at gunpoint. After binding the residents, the assailants moved them to the back of the house, further intensifying the drama of the crime.

Upon receiving a tip-off, local military police responded rapidly, breaking down the door to rescue the victims. As the authorities approached, one criminal managed to escape by scaling the property wall, prompting an ongoing search for the fugitive. According to Lieutenant Adonival Coelho, the apprehended teens are suspected of having provided critical information to the attackers, complicating the case and highlighting the involvement of accomplices in local crimes.
