Teenagers disappear after going to school and are raped in Cuiabá; two suspects are arrested

In Cuiabá, Brazil, two men, aged 25 and 38, were arrested on suspicion of raping two 16-year-old girls who went missing after attending school. Around 5 a.m. the following morning, the father of one of the missing girls informed the police that she had managed to contact him. He was able to locate her at a residence in Bairro Jardim Brasil. Upon arrival, he found his daughter lying next to one of the suspects, raising alarming questions about the circumstances surrounding their disappearance and the social issues contributing to such incidents in the area.
