Bruno Rafael Ricci, 40, and his son Raphael Lucas Ricci, 21, were arrested during a police operation in Ribeirão Preto on Monday, and are being investigated for indicating potential victims to a specialized gang in jewel thefts. According to the Civil Police, the duo is linked to at least four robberies and is also under suspicion for money laundering. Nine motorcycles, including three luxury bikes, and a car were seized during the operation.

The investigation led by delegate André Baldochi revealed that the Ricci duo not only identified victims but also provided the weapons and motorcycles used in the crimes, as well as buying the stolen gold. This indicates an organized network where the father and son played crucial roles in facilitating the thefts by supplying essential resources to the gang, highlighting a deeper level of criminal involvement.
