The body of Jhone Ferreira Noronha was recovered by firefighters after he disappeared while fishing in the Tocantins River, Brazil.

Jhone Ferreira Noronha, a 32-year-old man, was reported missing during a fishing trip in the Tocantins River near Filadélfia, Brazil. On Saturday afternoon, while fishing with friends and consuming alcohol, he jumped into the river but did not resurface. Search teams from the Corpo de Bombeiros scoured the area around Ilha dos Botes, about two kilometers downstream from Filadélfia. Despite the challenging conditions, they committed to finding Noronha, which resulted in the discovery of his body on Monday morning roughly 17 kilometers from where he had disappeared.
