Traffic police in the Attica region conducted a special operation leading to 15 arrests and nearly 5,000 traffic violations identified over a weekend survey.
A significant traffic enforcement operation took place across the Attica region from early Thursday until Monday morning, conducted by the Traffic Police Directorate. During the operation, a total of 25,627 traffic checks were performed, resulting in 4,970 violations, including serious offenses such as running red lights, speeding, and driving without a proper license. Among the various violations, 255 cases involved drivers operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol, leading to the arrest of 15 individuals during the campaign.
