Foul-mouthed easyJet passenger's five word shocking response when denied alcohol

An easyJet passenger was fined after becoming abusive towards a flight attendant when denied more alcohol during a flight.

A 44-year-old man named Anthony Morrison-Taylor was fined following an incident on an easyJet flight from Bristol to Newcastle where he displayed abusive behavior after being refused additional alcohol. The incident occurred in February 2024 when Morrison-Taylor, who appeared to be already intoxicated, attempted to order more drinks during a turbulent flight. When the flight attendant informed him that he would not be served any more alcohol, he reacted with hostility.

Morrison-Taylor's reaction included foul language directed at both the flight crew and the airline, declaring that they could do nothing to stop him from obtaining alcohol. His outburst was severe enough that the flight attendant felt compelled to contact police via air traffic control. Consequently, upon landing at Newcastle Airport, he was apprehended by law enforcement officials for his behavior.

This incident highlights the challenges airline staff face with unruly passengers and raises concerns about the consumption of alcohol during flights, particularly when combined with turbulence. Such events not only disrupt the flying experience for other passengers but may also lead to stricter regulations on in-flight alcohol service, especially for those who appear intoxicated prior to boarding.
