EasyJet is facing backlash for poor treatment of passengers during a flight cancellation that left many in distress.

Passengers aboard EasyJet flight EZY848 from Inverness to Gatwick experienced significant distress when their flight was cancelled due to an air traffic control failure. After boarding the aircraft, they were kept on the plane for nearly four hours without departure. Despite assurances from cabin crew regarding assistance with accommodation and transportation, passengers felt neglected and abandoned as these promises went unfulfilled.
