Luiza Farias, a dedicated public servant living in Ji-Paraná, took initiative to change her community's landscape by transforming a neglected lot into a vibrant garden. Frustrated with the accumulation of garbage in an area she passed daily, Luiza rallied her family to clean up the site, which commonly served as a dumping ground for waste. After clearing away large amounts of debris, including discarded furniture and trash, she began the revitalization process.

The transformation involved planting a variety of flora specifically chosen to attract hummingbirds and other birds, as they are a significant passion of hers. Among the plants she selected were fruit-bearing trees such as blackberry, canary fruit, acerola, pitanga, and passion fruit. Not only did this project beautify the area, but it also fostered a new green space for the enjoyment of both people and wildlife, encouraging the presence of local fauna in an urban environment where it had been absent.
