Sisal and Naba Together to Enhance the Historical Archive

Sisal continues its partnership with NABA for a third year to enhance its Historical Archive through a project that combines corporate heritage with technological innovation.

Sisal has renewed its partnership with NABA - Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti for the third consecutive year, focusing on a special initiative called 'Attiva l’Archivio!' that aims to enhance its Historical Archive. This initiative is designed to merge corporate heritage with technological innovation by focusing on two main areas: simplifying the consultation of digitized historical materials and merging the creative skills of students with the innovative expertise of the company, thereby enriching both the corporate and museum/archive contexts.

The project will engage second- and third-year students from NABA's Creative Technologies program, specializing in VFX and 3D, between March and June 2026. The official launch of the contest occurred on March 11, when Sisal presented the brief to the students. This collaboration indicates Sisal's commitment to not only preserving its corporate history but also promoting a fusion of education and industry, allowing students to apply their skills in a real-world context.

By involving students in this project, Sisal not only enhances its archives but also offers students practical experience and networking opportunities within the creative and technological fields. This aligns with contemporary trends of engaging academic institutions in corporate strategies, which can lead to innovative solutions that benefit both the companies involved and the students' career development.
