Teenager who died after motorcycle accident was going to enroll in a course and was happy, says mother
A 13-year-old girl named Vitória Cristina Soares da Paixão died in a motorcycle accident while on her way to enroll in a vocational course in Goiânia.
Victória Cristina Soares da Paixão, a13-year-old girl, tragically died in a motorcycle accident while en route to Goiânia for a vocational course registration. Her mother, Valéria Soares dos Santos Dias, mentioned her daughter was excited and happy about this new opportunity. The accident occurred on Thursday morning (12) on the GO-060 highway in Trindade, near Goiânia, where the motorcycle she was riding, driven by her grandfather Valdineis, collided with a truck as they attempted to access the Garavelo I neighborhood.
Emergency services transported Vitória to the Hospital Estadual de Urgências de Trindade (Hetrin), but unfortunately, she was pronounced dead upon arrival. Her grandfather, who was driving the motorcycle at the time of the accident, sustained minor injuries and is recovering at home. The police have not yet identified the truck driver involved in the accident, complicating the investigation and raising concerns about road safety in the area, especially as the community mourns the loss of such a young life.
