According to Rafael Mota, a corporal in the Military Police of Acre (PM-AC), the 6th Battalion was alerted to the incident around 4:30 AM. Upon arrival, police discovered the teenage victim on the motorcycle, along with the driver, but could not find the car that had been involved in the accident. Emergency medical services (Samu) were providing initial care to the injured individuals, who were subsequently transported to a medical facility for further treatment.
