On March 16, as part of Financial Literacy Week, a live discussion called 'An Open Conversation about Money' will be held at 11 AM. This event aims to encourage young people to openly share their experiences and thoughts on financial issues that are often considered taboo or difficult to discuss. The initiative reflects a growing awareness of the importance of financial literacy among the younger generation in Latvia.

The discussion will feature notable participants including Rūdis Freipičs, a second-year student at the Rīga Economics University and representative of the organization 'Young Economists', alongside Ģertrūde Taranda, a second-year student from the Jāzeps Mediņš Rīga Music School, and Alise Mankus, a graduate of pedagogy studies who is also a radio personality and content creator. This diverse panel of young voices aims to provide a relatable perspective on financial matters that resonate with their peers.

Moderated by Kristers Karlsons, a well-known figure from Latvijas Radio 5 and host of the program 'Gudrs un vēl gudrāks', the event will run until 12 PM.
