Grimaldi Group: Received in China the PCTC 'Grande Seoul'

The Grimaldi Group has taken delivery of the new Pure Car & Truck Carrier (PCTC) 'Grande Seoul' in Shanghai, China.

The Italian shipping group Grimaldi has recently accepted the delivery of its newest Pure Car & Truck Carrier (PCTC) named 'Grande Seoul' from the China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC) in Shanghai. This vessel is notable for being the ninth ammonia-ready unit in the Grimaldi fleet, indicating its capability for future adaptation to ammonia as a zero-carbon fuel, a significant step toward sustainable shipping.

Measuring 200 meters in length and 38 meters in width, the 'Grande Seoul' boasts a total capacity of approximately 77,500 tons and has the ability to transport up to 9,241 car equivalent units (CEUs).
