The driver, a resident of Antônio João, claimed he was traveling to Nova Andradina to buy truck parts.

However, during the police check, the driver could not provide the address of the supposed store he was heading to, raising suspicions among the officers. As a result of these inconsistencies in his story, the police conducted a thorough search of the vehicle, which led to the discovery of multiple packages of cocaine hidden inside the spare tire. Following the investigation, the total weight of the seized drugs amounted to 16 kilograms, a significant quantity indicating serious trafficking intentions.

The arrested individual chose to invoke his constitutional right to remain silent when questioned about the origins and intended destination of the narcotics.
