The State Department of Traffic of Mato Grosso do Sul (Detran-MS) has launched its online auction featuring 164 vehicles, which includes both motorcycles and cars. This auction comes as part of the fifth batch of the 2026 vehicle auction announcements, allowing previously impounded vehicles that are fit to be back on the road, as well as wrecked vehicles for scrap. The auction is fully online, making it accessible for a wide range of participants without the need for physical attendance.

Out of the total lots, 127 are motorcycles with bidding starting from R$ 1,000, indicating a significant opportunity for enthusiasts and prospective buyers looking for budget-friendly options. For instance, one motorcycle that has a market value around R$ 16,700 is starting with a surprisingly low bid of R$ 4,000. There are also 37 cars available, among which a popular model has an initial bid of R$ 6,000, further diversifying the auction lot for interested buyers.

The auction starts on Monday (16) and will run until March 30, 2026. Interested buyers can find detailed information and complete bid rules on the auction platform, which includes photos of the lots and specifics about each vehicle. This move represents Detran-MS's ongoing efforts to improve vehicle recovery and recycling processes while providing an avenue for the public to acquire vehicles at a competitive price.
