On Friday afternoon, a tragic accident occurred on the ES-257 highway at a location known as Morro das Almas in the rural area of Aracruz, Espírito Santo. The collision involved three vehicles and was exacerbated by rainy conditions at the time of the crash. Witnesses reported that a car lost control and collided with another vehicle, causing a chain reaction that involved a third car.

The accident resulted in the immediate death of the driver of the first vehicle, identified only as the driver of the Cronos, who was thrown from the car upon impact. The other two occupants of the second vehicle, a Classic, were severely injured; however, the driver, identified as José Carlos Sacramento, a 21-year-old man, succumbed to his injuries en route to a hospital. The passenger from the Classic was taken to São Camilo Hospital in serious condition, highlighting the severe impact of the collision on those involved.
