A recent operation in São Francisco, situated in Northern Minas Gerais, has led to the temporary detention of two men aged 18 and 22 in relation to an ongoing homicide investigation. Conducted by the Civil Police of Minas Gerais (PCMG) with assistance from the Military Police, the operation executed a temporary arrest warrant and two search and seizure warrants on January 13. The investigation commenced after a decomposed body was discovered in a rural area of the municipality on January 22 of this year. At the residence of one of the detained individuals, law enforcement discovered a marijuana plant, packaging materials for drugs, and a modified motorcycle. This led to the suspect being charged with possession and illegal modifications. Meanwhile, at another location, police seized cocaine along with equipment used for drug packaging, prompting further charges against the individual linked to that property.
