This incident took place approximately 250 km from São Luís. The suspect, who was apprehended in the Parque Santa Cruz neighborhood, is identified by the police as the alleged perpetrator of the murder, and he is also under investigation for another homicide in the city. During the arrest, a .40 caliber handgun, along with several rounds of ammunition and a magazine, was seized, suggesting a connection to the crime.
In addition to the firearm, authorities discovered a variety of illegal substances, including crack cocaine, marijuana, and powdered cocaine, as well as items such as a precision scale, cash, multiple cell phones, and a motorcycle that was reported stolen. The evidence collected during this operation has led the police to charge the man with drug trafficking and additional offenses related to firearm possession.
