The men's 12.5 km pursuit race is set to take place in Otepää, Estonia, featuring athletes Kristo Siimer and Mark-Markos Kehva among others.

In Otepää, Estonia, the biathlon World Cup stage will host pursuit races, starting with the men's 12.5 km event on Saturday. Esteemed athletes Kristo Siimer and Mark-Markos Kehva will both be competing, with coverage starting at 14:00 local time on ETV and ERR's sports portal. Commentary will be provided by Tarmo Tiisler and Margus Ader, with studio hosting by Mirko Ojakivi and reporting from Ivar Lepik.

Kristo Siimer, 26 years old, performed exceptionally during Thursday's sprint where he showed solid shooting skills and finished in first place before ultimately settling in at 15th place with a time of +1:05.0. This 15th place finish marks the best result of his World Cup career so far. In the pursuit race, he will compete side by side with Czech athlete Michal Krcmar and Norwegian Johannes Dale-Skjevdal, both of whom are strong contenders as well.

Mark-Markos Kehva also qualified for the pursuit race, following an excellent sprint performance that earned him a flawless shooting record and a 50th place finish at +2:09.6. The sprint competition was won by Norway's Sturla Holm Lægreid, followed closely by French Emilien Jacquelin and German Philipp Nawrath. The men’s pursuit promises to be an exciting event with talented athletes competing for top honors in front of a home crowd in Estonia.
