Brazil's Civil Police have arrested two men and a woman in Mogi das Cruzes for their involvement in a robbery that occurred last December, where they pretended to be police officers to deceive and rob a 79-year-old man. The investigation indicates that the woman orchestrated the crime by luring the elderly victim under the pretext of settling a loan. Once inside the victim's home in Parque Olímpico, her accomplices, posing as law enforcement, forcibly entered, restrained both the victim and the woman, and proceeded to steal valuables worth approximately R$ 29,000, including cash, watches, a cellphone, and a gun with ammunition.

The police disclosed that following the robbery, the woman managed to free herself and leave the scene, but she was later apprehended in connection with the incident. Authorities expressed relief that the suspects were detained, emphasizing the importance of holding those who exploit vulnerable members of society accountable.
