In the 'Elite 16' tournament of the Pro Beach Volleyball Tour held in Brazil, the Latvian team of Ardis Bedrītis and Artūrs Rinkevičs suffered their third consecutive loss in the group stage, leading to their elimination from playoff contention. The duo, who entered the main competition seeded number 21 after successful qualification, faced a tough match against the Brazilian team of Artur da Silva and Adrielson dos Santos, losing with a score of 0-2. Prior to this, they also lost to two French teams, being defeated by Remi Basero and Calvin Aye and by Elouan Shuya-Barbes and Joadel Gardok, both matches finished with the same 0-2 result.
