The City Hall of Araraquara is initiating the 9th Regional Campaign "Together Against Dengue" on Saturday, which is part of an initiative by EPTV aimed at preventing the spread of dengue fever and raising awareness among residents. The campaign will involve field activities and educational efforts to mobilize teams of epidemic agents, community workers, and local residents to participate actively in the fight against dengue.

Scheduled to take place from 8 AM to 1 PM, the campaign includes ground activities in the Jardim São Rafael II neighborhood, where teams will visit homes to eliminate mosquito breeding sites and provide guidance to residents on preventive measures. Additionally, technical recommendations will be followed for fogging in priority areas to address mosquito populations, along with the removal of discarded materials that could harbor potential breeding grounds.

Simultaneously, educational activities will unfold in the downtown area of Araraquara. At the intersection of Rua São Bento (Rua 3) with Av. José Bonifácio, awareness campaigns will be conducted at traffic lights, where agents will engage with drivers and pedestrians to inform them about dengue prevention strategies and the importance of community participation in controlling the disease's spread.
