The renovation project of Highway 15, which has been in planning for over 20 years, has officially commenced this week between Kotka and Kouvola in Finland. The initial phase involves tree removal, with the work starting manually before transitioning to the use of forestry machinery in the following month. According to forest worker Olavi Pavas, the project is progressing well, focusing on clearing brush and preparing the ground for future construction efforts.
