The Mall del Alto, a new shopping center in Cuenca, Ecuador, is expected to open its doors on May 21, 2026, with a modern architecture supported by photovoltaic energy. Developed by GO Corp. of the Ortiz Group, the mall will host 136 stores and 80 kiosks over a sprawling area of 50,000 square meters, located in the Turi sector of the city. The announcement was made on March 11 during a project portfolio presentation event in Quito.

With an investment of approximately $100 million, the Mall del Alto's construction was initially promoted in 2024 and is being built on a 16-hectare site, encompassing over 117,000 square meters of constructed area. The project is designed to provide a diverse commercial proposition that integrates both national and international brands.
