Azul airline is set to resume direct flights between Boa Vista and Campinas in Sao Paulo starting August 31, 2026, offering eight weekly flights.

Azul, a prominent Brazilian airline, announced on Thursday, August 12, that it will be resuming direct flights between Boa Vista, Roraima, and Campinas, São Paulo, beginning on August 31, 2026. This route was previously offered in 2021 and has now been reintroduced to cater to passenger demand and enhance connectivity between these regions. Azul will provide a total of eight weekly flights, facilitating both arrivals and departures between the two destinations.

The new flight schedule includes departures from Boa Vista on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 1:50 AM, arriving at Viracopos International Airport in Campinas at approximately 7:35 AM. In the opposite direction, flights from Campinas will take off on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 9:15 PM, with a flight time of about 4 hours and 45 minutes. In total, the company anticipates operating 34 flights monthly between the two cities, providing about 5,510 seats each month, which highlights the airline's commitment to serving the region’s travel needs.

This strategic move not only enhances Azul’s route portfolio but also improves travel options for passengers in Roraima, promoting tourism and business opportunities in the area. As direct flights resume, it is expected to foster increased connectivity and economic growth between northern Brazil and the São Paulo metropolitan region, which is a vital hub for commerce and travel.
