The deadline for the payment of the Imposto Predial e Territorial Urbano (IPTU) for the year 2026 in Manaus is scheduled for March 16. Residents who pay in a single installment by this date can benefit from a discount of 10% if they use the digital payment option through the Manaus Atende app. This initiative encourages residents to settle their tax obligations early, providing financial relief through these discounts, which are particularly advantageous for those who prefer digital transactions.

Additionally, residents who opt for installment payments using the app are also rewarded with a 2% discount for each timely payment made. However, those using the physical payment booklets, provided by mail or through the local service portal, will receive a slightly lower discount of 8% for one-time payments, with no discounts applicable to installment payments. This differentiation in payment methods reflects the city's strategy to promote digital solutions in tax collection and makes it easier for residents to fulfill their financial commitments.

By paying the IPTU in full by the due date, residents will also be entered into the IPTU Premiado campaign, which offers monthly prizes including cash values that can reach up to R$ 1 million. This added incentive seeks to further engage citizens in the tax system while promoting timely payments, thereby enhancing local revenue for community services and developments.
