In the morning of Thursday (12), an uncontrolled truck crashed into an urban bus in the Água Rasa neighborhood of the East Zone of São Paulo, resulting in six injuries. The accident occurred at the intersection of Avenida Regente Feijó and Avenida Salim Farah Maluf, during the truck’s approach towards the city center. Initial reports indicate that among the injured are five bus passengers and the bus driver, all suffering from slight injuries and not requiring hospitalization.
Authorities reported that the scene created considerable traffic disruptions, particularly affecting Avenida Salim Farah Maluf and Avenida Abel Ferreira, where delays of over three kilometers were recorded. The Traffic Engineering Company (CET) was called to the scene to facilitate the removal of the bus and restore the flow of traffic in the area. Emergency services attended to the injured, who were quickly assessed at the scene.
