Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch this funding from Guwahati, Assam, where over 9.23 crore farmers across the country are expected to receive 2,000 rupees each through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The total amount disbursed in this installment will reach approximately 18,640 crore rupees, bolstering the financial support provided to the agricultural sector.
Eligibility for receiving the 22nd installment is contingent upon having updated and accurate information on the official portal. Farmers must ensure that their e-KYC, bank details, and land documentation are current. They are advised to check the beneficiary list on the official website pmkisan.gov.in to confirm their name and status to ensure they are enrolled for the benefits of this scheme.
