Olga Ļiļajeva Appointed to the Board of Tele2
Olga Ļiļajeva has been appointed to the board of the mobile communications operator Tele2 in Latvia.
Olga Ļiļajeva has been appointed to the board of SIA Tele2, as reported by Firmas.lv. The changes were officially recorded in the business register of the company on March 11. Alongside Ļiļajeva, the current chairman of the board, Arnis Priedītis, and board member Aigars Evertovskis will continue in their positions, following the departure of former chairman Valdis Vancovičs in November 2025.
In the previous year, Tele2's revenue grew by 3.3% to 185.6 million euros, while the company’s earnings rose by 13.5% to 52.923 million euros. For the year 2024, Tele2 reported a turnover of 179.991 million euros, which marked a 1.5% increase compared to the previous year. These financial results indicate a steady growth trajectory for the telecommunications company amidst changes in its leadership.
Founded in November 1995, Tele2 currently has a registered capital of 3.486 million euros and is wholly owned by Sweden's Tele2 Sverige. The appointment of Ļiļajeva signals a continued emphasis on strategic leadership as Tele2 navigates the competitive market of mobile communications in Latvia and aligns with its growth objectives.
