The giant structure is located at Praça de São Benedito in Vila Capivari, where a significant number of visitors is expected before the holiday.
The local government has plans to contact Guinness World Records to validate the giant egg as the largest decorated Easter egg in the world. Currently, the record is held by an egg measuring 16.72 meters in height and 10.88 meters in diameter, created by the Association Visite Pomerode in Pomerode, Santa Catarina. This initiative highlights Campos do Jordão's strategy to stand out as a unique tourist destination during the Easter season, leveraging unusual attractions to draw more visitors.
With a target of attracting approximately 500,000 visitors by April 12, the initiative not only aims to promote tourism but also underscores the city's commitment to creating memorable experiences for tourists.
