Around the world, there are at least 107 mobilizations by creative professionals advocating for limits and justice in the development of artificial intelligence, according to a new study from the University of Toronto released on October 10. This effort includes journalists, designers, and artists, highlighting a growing concern about the impact of AI on creative industries. In Brazil, key figures like actor Fábio Azevedo, known for his role in the TV series Malhação and as a voice actor in prominent animated films, are leading the charge. Azevedo is currently the president of the Brazilian Voice Acting Association (Dublar.BR), which has gathered 100,000 signatures calling for restrictions on the use of AI in movie dubbing under the slogan "Dublagem Viva."
