A debt negotiation fair is being held in Aracaju, Brazil, from November 11 to 13. This initiative is organized by the Procon, the city's consumer protection and defense program, and takes place at the Practical Legal Training Center of the University of Tiradentes. The event is designed to provide a platform for consumers to negotiate their debts, offering discounts and favorable payment conditions.
The fair will operate in three main areas: mediation, guidance, and citizenship. Participants will not only have the opportunity to negotiate debt repayments but also access credit consultations through institutions such as Serasa and SPC, provided by the Chamber of Shopkeepers (CDL). Additionally, attendees can benefit from training programs and job offers through the Municipal Foundation for Professional Training (Fundat), as well as potential agreements facilitated by the Court's Conflict Resolution Center (Cejusc).
According to Roseneide Araújo, the general coordinator of Procon Aracaju, this fair represents a valuable opportunity for individuals burdened by debts to seek solutions and improve their financial situations. The initiative aims to empower consumers with knowledge and resources to better manage their finances and engage with their rights as consumers.
