The House of Representatives Committee on Finance has put pressure on the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to recover nearly N18.98 billion owed by foreign airlines within a period of two weeks. This decision was made during a session where FAAN officials presented their report on revenue collection and monitoring. The committee's chairman, James Faleke, emphasized the urgency of this matter, indicating that the increasing debt levels among international airlines constitute a serious concern for the country’s aviation revenue.
