The Managing Director and CEO of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Olubunmi Kuku, announced that implementing electronic payment systems at airports aims to close revenue leakages and reinforce accountability. The committee is actively assessing revenue generated by FAAN from 2023 to 2025, led by Abiodun Faleke, with a focus on improving the financial transparency of government agencies. Kuku's statements underline FAAN's commitment to ensuring that all revenues from airport operations, especially from tolls and other collection points, are precisely tracked and remitted to the Federal Government as required.
