Royal Mail has unveiled a new collection of 12 stamps to commemorate the 25th anniversary of 'The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.' The primary set consists of eight stamps showcasing a montage of beloved characters from the film trilogy. Among the featured characters are actors from the films, including Orlando Bloom as Legolas, Ian McKellen as Gandalf, and Christopher Lee as Saruman, all of whom played pivotal roles in the adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic saga.

In addition to celebrating the film's memorable characters, the stamp set includes four additional stamps that honor iconic locations within the story. These stamps aim to resonate with both longtime fans of the franchise and newcomers alike. A unique aspect of this release is the inclusion of hidden messages accessible only under UV light, which reveals Elvish writing arranged in a ring shape, adding an element of mystery and engagement for collectors and aficionados.
