Longvie has announced the opening of a new water heater manufacturing plant in Entre Ríos, Argentina, despite facing significant financial losses in recent years.
Longvie, a company owned by the Zimmermann family, has confirmed the opening of a renewed water heater manufacturing plant in Paraná, Entre Ríos, despite reporting considerable losses of 5,421 million pesos in 2025. The new facility is poised to commence operations next month, representing one of the more significant industrial projects in recent times in Argentina.
This project marks a critical development for Longvie, as it aims to enhance its production capabilities amidst an increasingly competitive marketplace, characterized by recent openings of imports. With an investment of one million dollars, the company plans to optimize its operations with new equipment and production molds, reflecting a commitment to innovation and quality improvement in their product lines.
The launch of the new factory is strategically timed to bolster Longvie’s position in the domestic market by allowing the company to introduce a renewed line of gas and electric water heaters. By addressing production efficiency and product variety, Longvie hopes to navigate its financial difficulties and emerge stronger in a challenging economic environment.
