They secured this achievement by defeating Tartu Welco, a team from the second division, in a closely contested match. The match saw Pärnu take an early lead with a goal from defender Kevin Aloe in the 41st minute, followed by a second goal from striker Mark Anders Lepik in the 57th minute. Despite a late response from Welco with a goal from Johannes Petmanson, Pärnu held on to win 2-1 with the match being witnessed by a crowd of 303 fans.

This victory follows a series of impressive performances by Vaprus in the cup, where they thrashed Viljandi Tulevik 13-0 in the first round and Keila FK 9-0 in the second round.
