The match showcased a tight competition, with Pärnu narrowly winning the first set 25:19. Võru fought back in the second set, overcoming a tie at 23 to take the lead and tie the match. However, Pärnu regained momentum to win the third set 25:22 before pulling ahead decisively in the fourth set.
