Daina Lejniece, a prominent oncologist from Latvia, has received a nomination for the prestigious European Order of Merit, an accolade recognizing individuals who have significantly contributed to the ideals of Europe. This nomination was put forth by the Speaker of the Latvian Parliament, Daiga Mieriņa, highlighting its national importance.
