On Tuesday, the Federal Government of Nigeria introduced the Sustainable Power and Irrigation for Nigeria Project, commonly referred to as SPIN, to enhance irrigation and hydropower resources in the country. This initiative, backed by a $500 million financing package from the World Bank, aims to bolster national food security, drive economic growth, and promote environmental sustainability.
