Mr. Okwudiri Oparaodu, the Secretary of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), has emphasized the urgent need for stronger forensic investigation capabilities to combat the escalating complexity of corruption and financial fraud in Nigeria. His remarks were made during the opening of a two-day capacity-building workshop focused on enhancing ICPC personnel’s skills in forensic investigations, which was sponsored by the Centre for Democracy and Development.
