The II Tapajós Theater Festival is set to occur from March 16 to 22, 2023, at the Wilson Fonseca Auditorium on the Rondon campus of Ufopa in Santarém, western Pará, Brazil. This year’s festival has a new location because the Casa da Cultura, which hosted the previous edition, will undergo renovations. Elizângela Dezincourt, the festival coordinator, expressed enthusiasm for the new location, highlighting the importance of the Casa da Cultura as a cultural heart for Santarém and emphasizing that the venue will undergo a much-needed facelift to serve the arts for many years to come.
