Harassment of Woman in Moving Car, Thrown onto Road When Resisted
A woman in Chhattisgarh was harassed in a moving car and thrown out when she resisted, amid rising crime rates in the region.
In Chhattisgarh's Kanker district, a series of criminal incidents continue to escalate, further highlighted by a recent case involving the harassment of a woman in a moving car. This disturbing incident follows a prior shocking report of a six-year-old girl being raped in the area, raising significant concerns about safety for women. The woman, who works in the health department, was waiting for a bus when she accepted a lift from a car that had three occupants. As the car traveled, one person exited, and shortly thereafter, the driver began to harass her. When she protested against the inappropriate behavior, she was forcefully pushed out of the moving vehicle.
