Ministry of Education: Modern equipment in 11 Art Schools
The Greek Ministry of Education is upgrading 11 Art Schools across the country with modern educational and artistic equipment, with a total budget of 6 million euros.
The Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports has announced an initiative to upgrade 11 Art Schools nationwide by supplying them with modern educational and artistic equipment. This initiative is part of the Sectoral Development Program of the ministry, with a total budget of €6 million aimed at substantially improving the infrastructure of these schools and enhancing the educational environment for both students and educators.
The new equipment encompasses a broad range of artistic disciplines and is designed to support various educational directions within the arts. For the Visual Arts, items such as painting easels, printmaking tools, ceramic wheels, sculpting tools, and digital creation devices will be supplied. In Theater, the provision includes stage equipment, theatrical lighting, audio systems, rehearsal and stage gear, as well as equipment for theater workshops.
In addition, for the field of Cinema, the schools will receive professional cameras, laptops, studio lighting, projectors, microphones, and other related equipment. This comprehensive enhancement of resources is expected to significantly contribute to the education of young artists in Greece, thereby fostering creativity and ensuring that students are equipped with the necessary tools to succeed in their respective artistic fields.
