The Delhi government has initiated plans for the construction of the 'PM Ekta Mall' as part of the central government's 'One District, One Product' (ODOP) scheme, aimed at boosting local handicrafts and Geographical Indication (GI) tagged products. Set to open in key tourist areas like Pitampura, INA, or Majnu Ka Tila, this initiative is backed by a budget of ₹5,000 crores, which will serve as a dedicated space for showcasing indigenous products from each state and union territory.
