The astrologer, who purportedly used a parrot to predict the future, initially won the officer's trust by making claims about his abilities to read faces and horoscopes.

As the relationship between the officer and the astrologer developed, the accused, identified as Shekhar, exploited this trust, leading the officer to believe that specific rituals and blessings would ensure his job transfer. Under this pretext, the astrologer convinced the officer to part with gold jewelry worth millions of rupees. It wasn't until the officer realized he had been scammed that both the astrologer and his parrot had mysteriously vanished, leaving no trace behind.

The local police are currently investigating this peculiar incident, which raises serious concerns about trust and gullibility among professionals.
