ENFIA: The posting of tax assessment notices begins - Installments, discounts, exemptions, double charges
The gradual posting of the ENFIA tax assessment notices for 2025 is set to commence, informing about significant changes in tax liabilities for approximately 7.3 million taxpayers in Greece.
Starting today, March 10, the Greek Digital Tax Authority (AADE) will begin the gradual posting of tax assessment notices related to the ENFIA property tax for the year 2025. Around 7.3 million taxpayers will be notified regarding their new tax liabilities, which include notable changes this year designed to incentivize insured residences while imposing penalties on vacant properties owned by institutional investors.
Taxpayers can access their assessment notices by navigating through the myAADE digital platform, where they will find a step-by-step guide to retrieve their specific tax assessment. The process involves logging in, selecting the relevant application section, and entering their TaxisNet credentials to view and print their tax determination notice for the fiscal year 2025.
In terms of payment options, property owners have the choice of two methods: they can either pay the full amount by the end of March or opt for installment payments over a twelve-month period, with the first payment due by the end of May. This updated structure aims to align the tax collection process with taxpayer convenience and address changes in property regulation, ultimately impacting almost every property owner in Greece for the coming fiscal year.
