The province of Guayas in Ecuador has experienced intense rainfall in recent weeks, resulting in 72 reported emergencies across 21 cantons. In response to these conditions, the Prefecture has launched a simultaneous relief operation in seven of the affected cantons over the weekend. Meanwhile, in Las Cañas, located in Lomas de Sargentillo, more than 300 families received essential items like food, blankets, and mosquito nets to help combat the impacts of environmental hazards.
