A project in Riachão do Jacuípe is providing free services aimed at ensuring rights and access for family farmers in the region.

The Cidadania Rural project has launched in Riachão do Jacuípe, which is located 79 km from Feira de Santana, providing free services that focus on guaranteeing the rights and access to public policies for family farmers in the Jacuípe Basin. The initiative will take place on Tuesday, the 10th, and Wednesday, the 11th, in the rural community of Mandassaia, offering public services from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.

The community and neighboring residents will have the opportunity to access various citizenship and productive inclusion services during this event. This project is part of the March Mulher program, coordinated by the Bahia State Department of Rural Development (SDR) which aims to promote citizenship, autonomy, and inclusion for women in rural areas throughout the month of March. Events like these are crucial for empowering local populations and improving their access to necessary resources and support.

Among the services offered during the initiative will be the issuance and updating of the National Agriculture Registry, which is essential for farmers to gain access to government programs. This initiative not only supports local farmers but also reinforces the government's commitment to improving the living conditions of rural inhabitants and ensuring equitable access to public services.
